Job Description
The Salesperson/Residential Sales Associate will persuade customers to purchase Garage Kings installation services. The salesperson must be able to demonstrate the product and services to the potential customer as well as provide an accurate quote based on a thorough assessment of the customer’s garage, basement, or other flooring.
The Salesperson/Residential Sales Associate must have excellent communication skills and be able to answer questions from our customers. They must have the ability to explain what the flooring options are, how the products work, and why each is beneficial to the customer. The salesperson is responsible for helping our customers with product selection and informing them about our product, and having  full knowledge of our competitors’ products and services.
The Salesperson/Residential Sales Associate is required to provide their own vehicle, fuel, maintenance and insurance. In addition, a cell phone, tablet, and professional attire are required.
The franchisee will provide sales samples, office staff assistance, forms, contracts, use of office computer, and office phone use as needed. Other duties and responsibilities may be added or removed as required by the company.
 
Physical Demands:
  • May be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Ability to move in awkward/tight positions
 
Basic duties: 
  • Complete tasks as directed by Sales Manager
  • Conduct in-home sales demonstrations and assessments
  • Use tools to provide accurate quotes
  • Work to develop skills and follow instructions correctly
  • Listen and respond to any questions the customer may have  
  • Occasionally work outside the office at events such as home shows, boat shows, special community events, etc., to promote our product and generate sales leads
  • Conduct follow-up calls with potential customers
  • Responsible for collecting the initial payment for service and making sure that all contracts are completed thoroughly and accurately
  • Communicate immediately with office support and lead installer if any assistance is needed
  • Always be courteous to customers 
  • Communicate regularly with the Sales Manager to keep him or her apprised of job progress and any issues
  • Generate personal leads by canvassing, following up with previous customers and other lead generation sources
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be added or removed as required by the company

  • Maintain confidentiality of company records and information at all times

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
